About the Oregon State Association of County Assessors

The Association of County Assessors is comprised of Assessors or any other Officials performing like duties and who are functioning as the elected or appointed County Assessor for a County Government.

The objectives of the Association are to:

• Provide opportunity for Officials to exchange ideas on the operations of their respective office.
• Elevate the standards and offer ways and means to serve the public better.
• Encourage the passage of uniform laws pertaining to the administration of the duties of Assessors and Tax Collectors all over the state.
• Exemplify the ideals of public service as an educational influence in business and civic life and schools.
• Cultivate friendship with its members all over the state.
• Participate in the formulation of and to advance the official policies of the Association all over the state.
